Mcpcb sheet has two plastic films, protecting the alum. base and the copper side.

Using the green scotch-Brite sponge (dry as is), scrape/clean thoroughly the copper side, until copper “shines ” bright.
When the PCB is brushed enough, with a clean paper towel dipped with acetone, clean carefully the copper side.
