First of all Allen wants to claim this report of thermal resistance PCB just stands for our sample MCPCB data.
If you have differing views about the thermal resistance PCB, please let me know.
We can discuss this issue in deeper.
The sample type of thermal resistance PCB test
The test samples were typed FR4 epoxy/glass laminates.
The test plan at thermal resistance PCB test
An experiment has been designed which determines the thermal conductivity in-the-plane of the laminates by matching the measured temperature distribution along a heated specimen with a finite difference solution.
An electrically heated Lees’ disc apparatus is also used to measure the thermal conductivity of these boards in a direction normal to their plane.
The result of thermal resistance PCB test
The samples tested yielded values of 0.343 W/milk and 1.059 W/MK for thermal conductivity through and along the plane of the boards, respectively.
Last but not least, there were many MCPCB test methods to test the performance of thermal resistance PCB, if you have a different opinion about it, please contact us.
